He was born in Lisbon in 1974. In his childhood, he became interested in computers as a creative tool to create games, physical simulations, educational software, computer graphics, sound, video and 3D animations. Later, he graduated in the School of Arts of the Portuguese Catholic University, where he specialized in Digital Arts, and studied at the University of Minho in the Master's Degree in Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality. As an interactive visual artist, he develops software art, interactive installations and performances through physical augmented reality environments and natural interfaces to promote the performer / public gesture and body expression. In this context, it carries out workshops, seminars, informal talks and presentations, in festivals, cultural and academics events, in Portugal and abroad. Currently, he attends the Doctoral Program in Digital Media of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto where he develops research in the scope of Interface Design, in particular, communication techniques between the user and the computer to support body expression in artistic creation.
